Neither of us has ever been to Thailand and the kids are looking forward to their first big flight (Jackson not so keen on the flight as he has real issues with his ears, I've found some little plug type things that will hopefully do the trick).
Work sorted, cars sorted, house sorted, my worst nightmare having friends (the gorgeous and fabulous Penny Lovell and Paula Howard)rock up and help with the final clean, after the initial shock wore off I continued cleaning fly spots off the ceiling and the girls got stuck in THANK YOU!.
Great night out at the Plough to say goodbye to friends and family. Hugs, THANK YOU...
Luckily we didn't need to say goodbye to everyone that night, we gate crashed Rach and Lukes romantic weeks away in Thailand, chance out of hundreds of flight options we managed to be on both flights Christchurch-Sydney and Sydney to Bangkok with them a few drinks at the airport might be in order.
Heading to the airport a little bit of panic did rise, why would you leave two perfect jobs, pull kids out of a great school and away from their friends, say goodbye to our wonderful friends and family to move to a place you have never been that is hot, very hot and I have to get permission from Scott to drive and drink alcohol (not at the same time of course). Still a good idea?
I'm having such fun going back over all this now that I've worked out how to see it all. Course you panicked dick head (Millie and Jackson, it's only ok to call your friends that when you are a grown up and love them lots)- it's a huge move and you are human, I'm sure it will all be worth it. Very proud of your packing skills - looking at those suitcases!!!
